How much does a concrete driveway cost?

Which finish should I choose?
Plain concrete is the most affordable. Coloured concrete and exposed aggregate cost more but hide wear and suit many newer homes. If you're in a new estate, check your design guidelines first: many limit the finishes and colours allowed.
How soon can I drive on it?
Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks after it's poured. Walking on it is usually fine after a day or two, but cars need to wait longer. You'll get clear advice for your driveway.
Do I need a crossover as well?
If the section between your property boundary and the road hasn't been built yet, yes. It's usually poured at the same time as the driveway. See crossovers.
